Track 09: Forensic dentistry
Forensic dental and forensic odontology is the application of dental knowledge to those civil and criminal laws that enforced by police agencies in criminal justice system. The dentist in this field is involving in assisting investigative agencies to identify recovered human remains in addition to the identification of whole bodies. Then the identification of the person to whom the teeth belong is done using dental records including radiographs, ante-mortem and post-mortem.
